Academic Focus: Decision Science

I graduated with University Honors from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in 2022, earning a BS in Decision Science and a minor in Business Administration. Decision Science brings together lessons from economics, psychology, statistics, and management to answer questions like: How do individuals and organizations make choices? What biases and heuristics lead them to suboptimal decisions? How can we utilize our knowledge about these decision processes to make it easier and faster for people to reach better outcomes? I plan to utilize my degree in support of government & non-profit operations.

Analytical Skills

I firmly believe that the best decisions are based on data, and have cultivated my skills in data analysis and visualizations using R, Microsoft Excel (which I've taught to others through a Head TA position), Oracle APEX & SQL, Qlik, NetLogo, and VenSim.

Creative Skills

I love complementing my analytical work with more creative endeavors, which I've implemented into jobs, courses, and extracurriculars. I frequently use Adobe Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and Audition and am also proficient in GIMP, Procreate, and Canva.

Community Involvement

I believe that giving back to my community is extremely important, and I do this primarily through volunteer work in the educational space. I love sharing my passion and knowledge for STEM and outdoors education with the next generation through programs such as FIRST Robotics and Girl Scouts.
